INFORMATION ABOUT MID-LEVELS

Nestled half way up the mountain between Central and Victoria Peak, the Mid-levels is probably the best known area among expatriates in Hong Kong for their residence. Its proximity to Central and concentration of many luxury apartment buildings make it an ideal location for those who appreciate the convenience and its exclusively residential feel. Most apartments are in high-rise buildings. There are many new, small to medium-sized apartments along Robinson Road and Conduit Road, while many large luxury apartments are found further up on Old Peak Road, May Road and Magazine Gap Road.

The Mid-levels is conveniently located, with a short bus ride or a quick ride in a taxi, to central (via City Bus, First Bus & mini bus). The escalator, starting from the Central Market all the way up to Conduit Road, offers a sense of freedom and a chance to stop off for a bit of shopping, meal or drink, in the trendy Soho area. In addition, some apartment complexes have their own shuttle bus service to Central or Admiralty. Access to Kowloon and the new Chek Lap Kok Airport is convenient from Central via MTR, Airport Express Railway, or the Star Ferry.
